Driver of the 22 Car

Starting at 16, from dirt to asphalt, Bowman Gray Stadium to Slinger Super Speedway in Wisconsin, Winston-Salem NC native Jonathan Brown has collected checkered flags all over the country.
Driver of the Red, White, and Blue #22 at the iconic Bowman Gray Stadium, Brown won more races than any other driver in 2018. Receiving the Top Gun Award, Most Popular Driver Award, and the Hard Charger Award; Brown was runner up to the championship by a small point margin. In 2019, Jonathan finished top 5 in the points standings and captured Most Popular Driver and The Hard Charger awards for the second year in a row. 2021’s short season crowned Jonathan winner of the prestigious Hayes Jewelers’ 200 and winner of the season finale Farm Credit 150, winner of The Grand Lap award for fastest lap of the season, and winner of The Hard Charger award once again-passing more cars than any other driver.
Jonathan stepped in to drive for Buddy Ellis and the Amerifast team on the SMART Tour in 2021, taking home the checkers for his first SMART Tour win at Carraway Speedway in 2021. For the season finale, Brown won The Rodney Cook Classic at Ace Speedway piloting his own #22.
Brown loves God, his family, guns, his Country, and a good ribeye. When he is not behind the wheel of a racecar or working on a racecar, he is thinking about being behind the wheel of a racecar or working on a racecar. Working under pressure and last-minute decisions are his specialties and he says the cure for all that chaos is, “strapping into that driver’s seat. There’s nothing like it. Well, except winning.”
